Tiina Pirhonen kertoo ryhmän alkuun panneesta aidosta uteliaisuudesta improvisaatiota kohtaan. “Espoon teatteri tarjosi aluksi harjoitustiloja, mutta me harjoiteltiin myös jossain Eija Ahvon tyhjässä asunnossa ja ties missä. Ihan vaan harjoittelemisen ilosta!” Näyttelijä Sari Havas tuli osaksi ryhmää vuonna 1991 Pirhosen pyytäessä kollegaansa mukaan harjoituksiin. ”Olin haltioitunut, miten suvereeneja esimerkiksi Outi (Mäenpää) ja Tiina olivat lavalla.
